Foundation Daw Park, the fund raising arm of Repatriation General Hospital is proud to announce that Defence industry company Pacific Marine Batteries has generously sponsored a research project in relation to a particular area of diabetes common in elderly patients such as the veteran population.
Paul Merrow, CEO of Defence Industry company, Pacific Marine Batteries commented: “It makes sense,” he said “that from a corporate citizenship perspective, a defence organisation support the health and wellbeing of our past, current and future veterans. For me, contributing to the research and patient care projects at The Repat, an icon in this State, ensures the future wellbeing of our veterans; it was both an easy yet strategic choice for my organisation to make.”
