Project: Development of a Hexapod Robot for testing biological materials

The RGH Hexapod Robot represents the state of the art in technology for subjecting biological or other materials to highly precise three-dimensional dsiplacements or rotations about any given axis or in any direction.

The Hexapod Robot will measure the complex biomechanical properties of biological tissues, bones, joints, artificial joints and other medical/surgical devies.

Project: Purchase of five Panasonic Radio/CD/Cassette Units

Relaxation is a pivotal part of patient care on Ward 17.   Research indicates that relaxation and meditation are effective in reducing anxiety, stress and sleep disturbance.  Providing the tools for effective relaxation and stress management can help patients to self-manage and therefore reduce length of stay and readmission.
