Research Paper Day 2010

The Foundation hosted the 2010 Defence and Veteran Research Paper Day in the historic SPF Hall on The Repat campus. The Hon Jack Snelling, Minister for Veterans' Affairs SA opened the proceedings followed by a slide show depicting our servicemen going about their duties.

Our keynote speaker, Dr Keith Horsley, Medical Consultant, Medibank Health Services spoke on "Cancer Incidence and Mortality in Veterans".

ABCD Paul de Gelder RAN Diving School HMAS PENGUIN gave an inspirational talk about his rehabilitation and how he regained control of his life after an horrific shark attack whilst working in Sydney Harbour.

Robert (Dog) Kearney JP, Senior Leadership Executive, Country fire Service presented on Trojan's Trek and CHAP Carl Aiken talked on "Spiritual Healing - does the Model Need Review?".
